In summary, when using v11 we're screwed.The latest Azurite V3 code, which supports Blob, Queue, and Table (preview) is in the main branch. Microsoft recommends the use of Azurite as a replacement but Azurite only supports blobs.However, 1.0.1 still works for tables.Starting with version 11.0.0, and don't work with the emulator.The WindowsAzure.Storage 9.3.3 Nuget package still works with the emulator.The Azure Storage Emulator is part of the Azure SDK and the latest version is 5.9.Feel free to comment if you have newer info or a different take on the story.
So here's the state of the whole thing as I understand it today. In fact, the emulator page must be updated to reflect this change. The message is kind of misleading since there are no new version of the emulator. Refer to the following URL for more information: )' Please upgrade the storage emulator to the latest version. (The REST version of this request is not supported by this release of the Storage Emulator. When trying to create a blob container, I get this error: System.AggregateException: 'One or more errors occurred. Grrrr! The emulator is a useful tool for doing local testing and debugging before switching to the real stuff on Azure. What a shock this morning when I realized that Microsoft decided to discontinue the Azure Storage Emulator ( read this bug report for more info).
